House of Flavors Ice Cream Company is issuing a voluntary recall for all Belmont Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough due to the possible nut allergens in the product. The product was distributed in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. There have been two documented cases of allergic reaction due to consumption of the product by allergic consumers. Affected products are being removed from all distribution. Consumers who have purchased the recalled products should return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.

Gretchen’s Shoebox Express based out of Seattle, WA is declaring a recall on Greek Yogurt Raspberry and Lemon Parfait cups due to undeclared ingredient: eggs. The products are sold at Starbucks stores in Seattle and Portland. Eggs can cause a severe reaction for those allergic to the ingredient. Kirkland Signature’s “Real Sliced Fruit” dried fruit packages have been recalled due to salmonella contamination. The product is made exclusively for Costco Inc, by Oregon Freeze Dry Inc. recall began on March 8th. Customers likely to have purchased the product have been contacted by mail or phone. The product has been removed from all Costco stores. No cases of salmonella have thus been reported.

Due to fall hazard, the Zoom Car Seat Stroller Adapter has had about 1,500 units recalled by Joovy. Reportedly, adapter clips can loosen on the stroller frame, posing a fall hazard.
The adapters are gray and black plastic clips designed to attach infant car seats to stroller frames. Joovy has received nine reports of incidents involving lose adapters on stroller frames, however no injuries have been reported.

The Candle Ring – Pine berry has recently had about 15,000 units in the U.S. and 2,000 units in Canada recalled. Apparently, the candle rings’ synthetic foliage and berries are flammable, posing a fire hazard.
