BMC recalls bicycles due to crash and injury hazards

BMC has recently recalled 1,300 units of their Stromer Electric Bicycles in the United States; and 11 in Canada. The recall stemmed off of a hazard that the bicycle fork can break, posing a crash and injury hazard to the rider. BMC has received one report of a fork breaking, resulting in minor scrapes and bruises to the rider. If you have been injured from this product contact an NY personal injury lawyer.

Consumers should immediately stop riding the bicycle and take it to an authorized Stromer dealer. Recalled bicycle owners will receive a free replacement fork and have it installed at no cost.
