Garden Fresh Foods recalls products due to health risk

Garden-Fresh Foods is initiating an expansion to our voluntary recall on various ready-to-eat salads, slaw, and dip products sold under various brands and code dates. It is said the products can be contaminated with Listeria, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes-fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. However, there have been no illness or complaints related to this recall.

Consumers who have purchased any of these products are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Dorel Juvenile Group Recalls Child Seats

Dorel Juvenile Group is recalling certain Safety 1st Complete Air LX, Safety 1st Complete Air SE, Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite, and Eddie Bauer Deluxe 3 in 1 convertible products for child restraint systems. The rear facing belt path installation arrows are incorrect and could be potentially interpreted as pointing toward the forward facing vehicle belt path location. If the child seat is not installed properly, the child may be injured in the event of a crash.

DJG will notify registered owners and provide free label kits consisting of modified labels which will correct the vague and possibly improper instructions.

Crate and Barrel Recalls Lamps Due to Fire Hazard

Crate & Barrel is recalling Hanging Pendant Lamps from the Finley Collection. These lamps came with two different shade color options; white and wheat linen. The lamp’s polarity labels can fall off or be mislabeled, which poses hazards to consumers.

They have received four reports of lamps shorting out, which resulted in minor property damage and a minor burn.

Consumers should immediately stop using the lamps and contact Crate & Barrel at (800) 451-8217 for a replacement lamp of equal value or a full refund.

Target Recalls Children’s Sitting Stools

Approximately 69,000 units of the Circo-brand Chloe and Conner Sitting Stools have been recently recalled by Target. They have received seven reports of the stools breaking or collapsing and causing a child to fall.
